About
Turbo Cross are hosting a day of Cyclocross racing for everyone at BA Stores, Dunecht, Aberdeenshire. With races for kids, novices and experienced CX racers there will be something for everyone on the day. And we'll close out a fun filled day with our "Turbo Cross Race" - 2 Laps of Full Gaz Racing!
Race Day
Registration begins at 0800 for the first race of the day and will close at 1600 for the last race. Make sure you register in good time, so that you can attach numbers, timing chips and practice on the course before your race is called up for gridding. We will publish our registration schedule nearer to the event. Full details will be found on our Facebook Event Page.

The Races
We are planning on hosting Non-Competitive and Competitive Races. They’ll be something for everyone. To make the event accessible to all we will set up a Kids Course, Main Course and Practice area. Details of the courses will be provided in Rider Packs sent out a few days before via email.
All races will be time based with shorter kids and taster races ranging from 10 to 30 minutes through to “Series Based Races” lasting closer to an hour. Check out our provisional race schedule for further details on our Facebook Events Page.

Cyclo-Cross Bikes
For our competitive races, competitors riding cyclo-cross bikes with drop handlebars will be allowed to take part.
For our Non-Competitive and Taster Races any bike fitted with off road tyres and in good working order will be suitable.
Event Village
We will have an event village at BA Stores. There'll hopefully be teas, coffees and cakes on sale too.
We will have toilets and showers on site.
There will be on site First Aid, located to the Event Village as well as roaming First Aid on course.
There will be limited parking close to the event village. BA Stores has a main car park close to the course and there is an area of hard standing in the lower field that 4WD vehicles can reach.
There is no official campsite at BA Stores although prior events have offered overnight camping.
We will look to publish a preliminary Event Village Map closer to the time on our Facebook Events Page.
