The Fort Vale Colne Grand Prix is organised by Cycling Development Pendle Partnership (CDPP) and Colne Town Council

The fast and furious Colne Town Centre criterium race, around an 830 metre town centre circuit, part of the British Cycling National Circuit Series, both Open and Women's series.

With support races for Open (Regional A) and youth A and B category riders.

17:45 Coalition Facilities Management Youth Race 30 minutes

18:25: Riggs Autopack Support Race (Reg A Open & Reg B Women's) 40 minutes

19:20: Fort Vale Colne Grand Prix (Women) 50 minutes 

20:20: Fort Vale Colne Grand Prix (Open) 50 minutes

Sign on closes 30 minutes before each race.

Entries are ONLY open to British Cycling members with a full racing license.

 

Rider Selection

For the Fort Vale Colne Grand Prix National series races, rider selection will conform to series regulations, selection will be after the official closing date on the 1st July 2024.

The entry selection and acceptance process for the support and youth races may commence prior to the official closing date.

The selection process for the Sprint for Success support race will take into account a number of factors. Riders are advised to enter early, in particular with the Sprint for Success support race where a full field may be selected prior to the closing date. Junior and adult riders will have priority over Youth A riders with dispensation.

Youth riders are encouraged to enter the Youth race.

 

Riders will be selected upto the following limits:

Fort Vale Colne Grand Prix (each race): 90 riders

Riggs Autopack Support Race: 60 riders in total

Coalition Facilities Management Youth race: 60 riders in total: Youth A and B only

 

Official closing dates:

Fort Vale Colne Grand Prix: 1/7/2023 23:55 (21days)

Riggs Autopack Support Race, men and women: 1/7/2023 23:55 (21days)

Coalition Facilities Management Youth Race: 1/7/2023 23:55 (21days)

No refunds after the official closing date (1/7/2024).

 

Late Entries

Entries on the night will not be taken in ANY of the races.

Late entries may be accepted with the late entry fee until 15th July 2024 23:55, if space is available.   Reserve List Each race will have a reserve list.
