Event Overview
The Royston BMX Club Summer Series is an 11 round series of Tuesday evening races open to any members of a BMX club who must be at least 5 years old to compete.
Race age is based on 2024 - YoB - eg A rider born in 2014 has a race age of 10-11yrs
Registration is by On Line entry only and closes on the Monday before at 11.55pm
Classes are: 7 & Under 8-9 Yr. 10-11yr. 12-13Yr. 14-16yr. 17+. Cruiser/ MTB Male and female riders race together but Male Riders may elect to ride up one class and Female Riders may ride up or down one class. PLEASE NOTE – Riders will require an active MyLaps Pro Chip Flex transponder - the red one and race timing and results will be run via Sqorz - please see Our Sqorz. A limited number of transponders are available to hire. If you have recently purchased your own transponder please send details, including your BC membership number to roystonbmx@gmail.com. BC BMX Regulations apply – including clothing – Long Sleeves, Long trouser, Full Face Helmets, full finger gloves. Please ensure you are aware of the Race regulations on the BC website.Event Details

Royston Rockets BMX Club , Burns Road, Royston, Hertfordshire, SG8 5PT
Directions: From the A1 turn off at Baldock and take A505 to Royston. Turn right at the second roundabout (A1198 Junction) or from M11 turn off at Duxford onto A505 to Royston and turn left at second roundabout. After the A505 roundabout, travel 100m and straight over the roundabout by the superstore and then continue 100m to next roundabout and turn left into Burns Road - signposted to School and community centre. Pass the school on the left to the roundabout and turn right. The track entrance is the first left 5m after road island. The track is usually signed by small green/yellow BMX stickers on the road signs.

Cost To Race is £8 per rider per class. Gates Open at 17.30pm and check in is 18.00pm to 18.45pm racing from about 19.00pm . You registration acceptance will be available on Sqorz from midday.
Race age is based on 2024 - YoB - eg A rider born 2014 race class is 10-11yrs.
Also, please note there is no on day registration and moto sheets will not be displayed so please ensure you have access to wwww.oursqorz.com
