Event Overview

Loudoun Road Club will be hosting an open club ride taking in 75km of the most scenic roads around Darvel as part of the DarVelo cycling festival. There will be some tough, but achievable climbs, good scenery and good company. Come along and enjoy the road cycle of Darvelo and meet like minded cyclists for a good day out starting and finishing at The Corner in Darvel.

Info for Riders

This is a non-competitive event and cyclists should make sure their bike is in full working order and be prepared to be able to fix their own minor technical issues if they arise.

There are no food stops on the route but it will pass through the village of Muirkirk and Strathaven where riders can restock and refresh if required. There will be food and refreshments in the event village at both the start and finish of the ride.

Riders taking part should download the gps route before the start although the route will be signposted on the day.
