Event Overview

The HQ will be at Polnicol Hall which is just over 3 miles from the start.  The hall will be open from 6am. 

A race manual will be sent to riders prior to the event with full details.

There will be a “Road bike” category.

Rules for road bike prize are:

 

No TT/Tri bars, no TT aero helmet, no disc wheels (deep section wheels are fine).  Equipment and rider will be checked on the start line to be eligible.  

 

Course: Start on B817 at Saltburn proceed north to Kildary. Turn left onto A9. Follow the A9 to Dornoch Bridge roundabout. Take third exit to turn south on A9 to Ardtully Roundabout and return north to Dornoch Bridge roundabout. Retrace to Ardtully roundabout. North on A9 to Kildary.Turn left at Kildary onto B817. Continue to finish on B817 at Saltburn.

Info for Riders

Championship Eligibility

All Scottish Cycling National Championships require riders to hold at least silver membership in Time Trials and riders must meet one of the following eligibility criteria (technical regulation SC2.2);

SC2.2.1 Persons whose primary club is affiliated to Scottish Cycling (licence showing that club or team at the time entries close)

SC2.2.2 Scottish Nationals (persons born in Scotland)

SC2.2.3 Scottish Residents (persons who have continuously lived in Scotland for three
consecutive years prior to the day of Championship)

SC2.2.4 Persons who have at least one parent who was born in Scotland.

SC2.2.5 Members of the armed forces who meet none of the above, but who by necessity
are required to live in Scotland away from their normal residence.

Persons in SC2.2.2 to SC2.2.5 must be members of a UCI recognised Cycling Federation.

Only open to Seniors.

 

Entries after closing date are at the discretion of the organiser and riders will not be eligible for the Championship.
