Event Overview

Round 4 of an 8 race series with overall prizes at the final round on 28th May.

 


SERIES POINTS - You can enter any or all of them. Just enter each week you can make. The more races you do the better chance of building up your overall points:

 


1st place in each race on the night 100 points..

2nd 99

3rd 98

4th 97 etc.

 


In the event of riders being on the same overall accumulated points after round 8 - the final rounds positions will determine the final overall placings. 

 


Evening Circuit Racing on the purpose built 1.7km road circuit at the National Closed Road Circuit inside Pembrey country park. 

 

Race Program:

Race 1 - 6.30pm - 40 mins  (separate points for men and women) 

3/4 Men

1/2/3/4/J Women

 


Race 2 - 7.15pm - 50 mins (all going for 1 set of points) 

E/1/2/3 Men

 

*UNDER 16 Youth A riders with a CURRENT UP TO DATE 2024 dispensation card* can enter on the line ONLY (No pre-entries) Your dispensation card to ride with seniors must be shown at sign on.


*All race durations and start times are subject to change.

Seniors/Junior (Youth A entering on the night) £12


Entry on the night: £16 (youth with dispensation £12)

 

Categories eligible for both races & Youth with a dispensation card can enter the second race for just £6 - after they have raced in the 1st event.

Info for Riders

On arrival:

  • Park at the REAR entrance to the closed road circuit. on the long approach road turn 1st left past the football field and enter through the double gates on the right. A  marshal will meet you there.
  • Seniors & Juniors Sign on.
  • Collect your race number.
  • Youth go through the gear check before collecting your race number.
  • Sign on at the desk and take your race number from the desk steward.
  • Pin your two numbers directly onto your back pockets side by side with a slight gap.
  • Limited toilet facilities and no changing. 
  • Try to bring rollers or Turbo to warm up, otherwise please be courteous to other park users and ride responsibly.
  • After the finish continue round the circuit and listen to marshal instructions who may turn you short to leave the circuit and return to your vehicle.
  • Please RETURN your RACE NUMBER before you leave.
  • Provisional Results will be posted on Holtracing facebook page as soon as we can, then official results will be submitted to British Cycling.
  • Overall standings after each round will also be posted on Holtracing Facebook.
