Event Overview

The BMX East Talent Development Centre will be giving the EA riders a fantastic pre-season opportunity at Manchester Indoor in conjunction with the BC lead talent development coach Dylan Clayton on Tuesday 21st February. This session is for the regions 13-17 who are looking to transition to racing on the 8m hill in the championship classes.

The sessions will be open to riders from all EA clubs who have completed a full season of regional racing, or who have a proven track record of performance at national/international level. The coaches decision on a riders ability will be final and riders may be rejected if it is felt they do not meet the criteria for the 8m hill.

This session will run from the 5m and the 8m hill for riders who can show jumping competence on the second straight at Manchester.

The sessions will be open to riders from all East clubs only and will include race day planning, track familiarisation, gate start and group race scenarios with individual rider feedback throughout the session and post session for the individuals personal development plan.

Info for Riders

All riders must be a first club member of an East Regional club.

All riders must have a desire to race at Championship level.

All riders must have a willingness to progress.

All riders must have a suitable level of enthusiasm and self motivation.

All riders should have a well maintained bike, ready for a session and have the appropriate tools to carry out any repairs that may occur.

All riders must have their own race kit and protective clothing for each session.

All riders can bring there own kit bag and equipment needed for the session.
