Event Overview

Entries are now open for the second edition of the Glasgow Track Racing Club Grand Prix incorporating the 2024 Youth, Junior & Senior Scottish Madison Championships .This event also features the first round of the British Cycling Sprinter's League for Male & Women with B&C sprints to make the racing inclusive to racers of all abilities. This year we have expanded the programme of events to run over 2 days with the inclusion of Derny racing, Keirin and Team Sprint races.

The timings indicated on the event entry are indicative only and the final timetable will be published as soon as possible after the close of online entries and will be circulated to all riders, along with the race manual. The final schedule will be dependent on the number of entries received for each competition and may be subject to change prior to the start of the event.

There will be a section within track centre for spectators to access during competition. Please note spectator stands will not be open during this event.

About the Event

Info for Riders

Glasgow Track Racing Club will be hosting it's second ever Sprint GP in Glasgow as part of British Cycling's National Sprinters League. The event will also host the Scottish Madison Championships for all categories. Prizes will be on offer for the top riders of each category. Pending entries, we plan to run an A, B & C Sprint in the same format as the British Cycling Sprinters League.

INFORMATION FOR RIDERS

For riders entering madison, please note only one rider should enter the team and the entry fee covers both riders. When entering you will be asked to provide your madison partner details.

Entries open on December 1st 2023 and will CLOSE on January 6th. Entries will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. All participants must have a current FULL RACING LICENCE for their national federation (with a UCI number if not a BC member). British Cycling members are required to have gold or silver membership. Provisional licenses will not be accepted.

Racing is provisionally scheduled to run from 10:00AM-5:00 PM (timings are subject to change dependent on entries).
