Entrants may choose to donate their entrance fee (after event costs have ben factored in) to one of the below charities. These will initially be capped at 50 donations for each charity - depending on final number of donations for each, the remainder will be shared between them and the community fund.

Thirlestane Castle – a magnificent 16th century castle set within the beautiful Lauderdale Estate in the Scottish Borders. Historic home of the Duke of Lauderdale, the Castle is one of the oldest and finest in Scotland and still remains home to the Maitland family today. The castle is open public tours from May-October. Group tours are available year round on request. Thirlestane Castle is a Charitable Trust and by coming here you are supporting this historic building and its collections – Thank You!
