British Cycling Pathway Development Centre BMX - East Anglia - Group 1

The Development Centre Coaching sessions are for BMX EAST FIRST CLUB RIDERS 

These sessions are for 2023 race age riders 8-11s who have an interest in looking at the Olympic Development pathway.

The sessions will be aimed at taking riders and parents through the on and off track skills required for the RSR programme and developing techniques including gate starts, group strategies and appropriate race day prep. Riders will receive individual feedback on their performance and personal development plan.

The sessions will be delivered by Julian Allen (Jools) and club coaches from around the region. Jools has been the regional lead coach and been involved with the RSR pathway since 2011 and have a wealth of experience in rider development and progression.

Info for Riders

All riders must be a first club member of a BMX East club.

All riders must have a willingness to progress.

All riders must have a suitable level of enthusiasm and self motivation.

All riders should have a well maintained bike, ready for a session and have the appropriate tools to carry out any repairs that may occur.

All riders bring flat pedals and shoes with them 

All riders must have their own race kit and protective clothing for each session.

All riders can bring there own kit bag and equipment needed for the session.
