British Cycling is delighted to confirm the BMX Freestyle National Championships & Round 3 of the National Series presented by Backyard Jam. The event is to be held at Junction 4 Urban Sports Village on 22nd & 23rd July 2023.
Join us for a weekend of all things BMX! With more competition categories and disciplines than ever. Coaching and supervised sessions for beginner and novice riders, fun games and competitions for all levels and spectators.
National Championship jerseys & medals will be awarded for Elite Park, Elite Flatland & Under 15 Park categories. Backyard Jam Series medals and National Series points for all park & street categories.
An open Dirt Jam will also take place over the weekend along with coaching sessions for beginners and novice riders.
Riders and spectators must please park at the Darwen Vale School next Junction 4 Urban Sports Village.

About the Event
Info for Riders
The BMX Freestyle National Championships is an annual stand alone competition, being held over the same weekend and in conjunction with Round 3 of the 2023 Backyard Jam National Series.
National Championship results will count towards the National Series rankings and the same points will be allocated as each round of the series.
All riders will be required to wear helmets during practice and competition.
Spectator access will be FREE all weekend.
Rider's wishing to bring bikes in to the venue but not enter a competition are able to register as a "Non-competing Rider" for £15 (1 x day) or £25 for both. Non-competing riders will be have access to areas of the facility that are not being used for competition at that moment. Please follow @backyardjambmx on instagram for live schedule updates and amendments.
*All riders will receive a day license as part of their entry. Elite Park, Street and Flatland riders will receive a full "Race License" if they don't have one already (valid until the end of 2023).
Please pay careful attention to the event schedule and be ready to ride in your allocated location prior to the start time. The schedule is a guide and may have minor changes before and during the event.
*In some instances on the schedule, if practice time is not clearly indicated for a category it will included in the allocated competition time.
Competition categories will take place during their allocated time slot, they will not necessarily start at the exact time indicated on the schedule.
