Saturday 27th May 2023 closed circuit race at Wheal Jane (entry via BC website) - stage 1
Sunday 28th May 2023 Hill climb and Individual Time Trial – stages 2 & 3 We also have planned a range of other events on the Sunday so you can make a weekend of the event.
Please note stages 2 and 3 of the event will be held under CTT rules – you will be sent an email once you have entered the Saturday race with details and link to enter, additional fees apply. (Road bikes only for the TT stages.)
This race is for those adults new to Criterium racing that are doing the time trial and want to join in on the Criterium stage without the fear of the speedier experienced criterium racers! Even if you aren't doing the time trial stage and want a go at Criterium races, this is the race for you!

Penzance Wheelers will be supporting Wheal Velocity running these events and have put up a substantial prize fund for the stage race.

Info for Riders

You must sign on before racing at registration at least 30 mins before your race is due to start. Your bike must be in working order and helmets/gloves worn. Please ensure you are at the start line when called.
