Event Summary

Event Overview

This year’s race hopes to follow on from the success of last years race and has also been selected to form one leg of the Alba/Scotia series.

The route covers the traditional 15km loop around the outskirts of the picturesque villages of Straiton and Kirkmichael and through the centre of the ancient village of Crosshill.

For 2023 we are again running a stand alone women's event of 6 laps of the same circuit giving a race of approx. 84km with 1170 meters

The men's race will consist of 8 laps will take the riders over 120km with 1500m of elevation and finish by the Blairquhan Summit at approx. 12.8km into the final 8th lap.

Circuit is available on Strava via the link below, this route includes the roll out, laps 2 onwards turn left at the junction outside Straition rather than return to the village and the final lap ends at the summit of the climb approx 1.2km from the Straition junction
