Event Overview
A sponsored bike ride to celebrate the Coronation weekend around the quiet rural lanes to the north of Horseheath, rasiing funds for Horseheath Village Hall - This event commences at 10.30am and ends at 4pm. There are two routes, both anticlockwise circular routes, one of 8 miles intended for local families and one of 26 miles intended for the more experienced cyclist. Sponsorship forms will be sent to participants by email after entry; all are welcome, and participant registrations should be completed 48 hours before the event through the British Cycling website. The routes will be available to download beforehand and will be well signposted. The routes depart from the Village Hall; there is a pub at the mid way point on each route who will be happy to welcome participants. All participants must return to the Village Hall at the end of the ride, where there will be stalls, refreshments and a celebration of participants achievements. The organising group includes members with active first aid experience and a sag car will be patrolling the routes. We hope this will become an annual event.
