The Two Counties Road Race is a traditional early season 3/4 cat event that would normally be held on the circuit by Bridgnorth, this can't be used due to the new traffic lights on the B4176.

The circuit starts at Halfpenny Green Airport, up to Six-Ashes, left towards Enville, then left on Morfe Lane. The circuit finishes back by the start. 7 laps totalling just short of 59 miles.

The West Midlands road race league is a season-long series for men and women based on weekend road races within West Midlands region, mainly 2/3/4 (regional A) and 3^rd/4^th cat (Regional B). The races are open to riders from all regions, but organising clubs get priority entry for up to 8 riders; in 2023 organising clubs are Halesowen, Bridgnorth, Wolverhampton Wheelers, ProVision RT, Paramount CRT, Solihull, Newport (Shrops), Royal Leamington Spa, Wyre Forest CRC, and Lichfield.
