The session requires a rider to meet criteria. This includes:

  • Youth A, B and Junior
  • Welsh eligible
  • Riders need to be racing at a regional level, or have a desire to start racing at a regional level

 

Aims of Talent Development Centres:

 

  • Provide riders with the skills and knowledge required to race and perform at a regional level, with the aim of being able to progress to national competitions.
  • Provide riders with the skills and knowledge required to progress to the Talent Development Advanced Sessions.

Info for Riders

This is part of a series of CX coaching sessions taking place in Mid Wales this Autumn. 

1 - October 12th

2 - November 16th 

3 - December 14th 

4 - January 11th

 

Please come prepared for a 2-hour training session, including:

- skills practice

- intervals

- coach-led racing

 

Make sure you are prepared for the session with a clean and well-maintained CX bike (or MTB), food, water and appropriate clothing.

 

A consent form needs to be completed before your first Talent Development session. Please send through in advance to ffion.james@welshcycling.co.uk.

You will not be able to take part if a consent form isn't seen!
