Entries are now open for the 2022 Scottish National Youth and Junior Track Championships!

We are pleased to add disability competition into the programme, as the only disability specific track race opportunity on the calendar ahead of the British National Track Championships (currently). The events included will be Individual Pursuit, 500m/1km TT and Scratch race for bicycle categories and Individual Pursuit, 1km TT and Sprint for Tandems. We aim to these on the Saturday, however this is subject to change dependant on number of entries. These races are open Paracycling events and not restricted to Scottish riders. Classification groups may be combined and factored as per British Cycling regulations.

The timings indicated on the event entry are indicative only and the final timetable will be published as soon as possible after the close of online entries and will be circulated to all riders, along with the race manual.  The final schedule will be dependent on the number of entries received for each competition and may be subject to change prior to the start of the event.

The ‘Entry Fees & Races’ tab shows indicative times for events taking place in the day time and the evening but specific race times will not be confirmed until entries have closed.  The below timetable gives a draft of the competition sessions and order of events but should be taken as a guide only as it is subject to change.

There will be a section within track centre for spectators to access during competition.

Information for Riders

All times are indicative.  The final timetable will be published as soon as possible after the close of online entries.

All competitors will be required to provide their own holder for Sprint and Keirin events.

The event will be delivered under Scottish Cycling regulations. 

Please be aware that only riders meeting the criteria below will be eligible to enter the National Championship.

Competitors in all Scottish Cycling Championships are required to have a full Scottish Cycling/British Cycling or UCI racing licence, which must be presented at sign on.

Exceptions are as follows.
In Road Time Trials and Team Time Trials the minimum eligibility is SC/BC Silver membership.
In MTB XC, MTB DH and Cyclo-cross, unlicensed riders may compete in a Championship race but will not be eligible for a Championship placing. In all other Scottish Championships, only eligible riders shall participate in the event.

All Scottish Cycling Championships shall be open to persons who meet at least one of the following criteria: -

Persons whose primary club is affiliated to Scottish Cycling (licence showing that club or team at the time entries close).
Scottish Nationals (persons born in Scotland).
Scottish Residents (persons who have continuously lived in Scotland for the last three consecutive years prior to the day of the Championship).
Persons who have at least one parent who was born in Scotland.
Members of the armed forces who meet none of the above, but who by necessity are required to live in Scotland away from their normal residence.
For all team Championships, excluding Track, eligibility requires each team member to meet at least one of the above criteria, as well as each rider’s licence showing the same club or team at the time of entries closing. Clubs or teams, in this instance, may be affiliated to any UCI registered governing body. For Track Championships team eligibility see SC6.2.6.

Persons in SC2.2.1-SC2.2.6 must be members of an UCI recognised Cycling Federation.

The Organiser and Scottish Cycling may select the field for any Championship from the competitors entered
