Earth Wind & Tyre 2022 will be a one-day, 100-mile, wind-themed cycle challenge. This event will unite teams and individuals from across the renewable energy industry and beyond to raise funds for Renewable World. Participants are also able to join virtually from anywhere in the world, as well as in person on 11 June.

In celebration of clean energy, the route passes by 5 iconic wind farms. The one day route is a one lap route that starts and finishes in Durham. With leg-testing climbs and euphoric views, it’s a truly spectacular event for all involved.

Earth Wind & Tyre is the perfect opportunity for you to test your cycling ability, whilst at the same time having a positive impact on other people’s lives. Every penny that you raise while taking part in our cycle challenge will help change the lives of those living in some of the poorest communities in the world; providing them with a clean and sustainable source of energy to light homes, pump clean water, and power small businesses.

The physical event takes place on Saturday 11 June in Houghton-le-Spring.

The virtual event can be completed anytime in June.
