Event promoted by the British Cycling talent development team, club coaches and regional staff.  

All sessions are for riders in the Youth A & B categories in 2022.

7-9pm - Coached practical session 

Entry is online ONLY, no entries will be accepted on the day. 

Development Centres support riders with their first step on the talent pathway as well as current riders who have been engaged in RSR and Apprentice programmes.  Online entry is used to support the tracking of riders through the pathway.

About the Event

Info for Riders

These sessions are for riders competing as a Youth A or B and Junior Girls in the 2022 season, the sessions consist of progressive training exercises driven by challenging the physical and technical needs identified in the region. These sessions riders who are looking to build their fitness and race skills ahead of the road racing season. As such they will be hard and intense sessions and require a good existing level of fitness and bunch riding skills.

Entry will close on the Wednesday before the session at 11.55pm. Spaces are limited to 40

Riders should treat the session like a two-hour road ride and be suitably equipped, 2 bottles, food, race cape, spare tube and a pump is the minimum. The session will run in all weather conditions where the track is safe to ride so please bring clothing suitable for winter riding.
