Event Overview

This is our second Twisted Spire Velo in aid of the wonderful charity Astriid.

This time we are taking you through the beautiful border counties of Shropshire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire, taking in the lovely Teme Valley with its iconic hop fields. There are 2 scenic routes to choose from, whether you are a seasoned veteran that craves the hills or are new to Sportive riding - we’ve got something to suit most abilities.

Info for Riders

Riders will be very well looked after as the route will be fully signposted and marshaled, as well as there being mechanical support provided at the start and a roving mechanic in attendance. We have well placed feed stations and a substantial hot meal at the finish together with a bottle of the legendary Twisted Spire Ale from local brewers, Hobsons. Also included:

  • Free safe parking on tarmac.
  • Easy check in.
  • Indoor toilets at Start / Finish.
  • Mechanical support.
  • Medical support by Paramedics.
  • Feed stations en route (one on the shorter and two on the longer route).
  • Broom wagon support.
  • Post ride goody bag to every finisher.
  • Photographers at points on route.
  • Free post ride showers available.
  • Bespoke souvenir medal.
