Event Overview

This round 3 of the Border Trophy Series, an inter-club competition between Hawick Cycling Club, Gala Cycling Club, Kelso Wheelers, Musselburgh Roads Cycle Club and Auchencrow Thistle Held over four rounds.  It is an open event with entries accepted from riders from outwith these five clubs.  The other three rounds are hosted by Berwick Wheelers on 5th May 2022, Gala CC on 19th May 2022 and Kelso Wheelers on 16th June 2022.

Entries may be available on the day of the event if the maximum number of entries has not been exceeded. 

Online entry fee £6. On the day entry fees £10.

About the Event

Info for Riders

The route heads due south on the A7 starting from Branxholme with a dead turn for the return leg.  The finish is at Parkdaill.  The turn will be well marshalled.  Please ensure it is safe for you to turn and follow the instruction of the marshal to stop if asked to do so.  We require you to fit a rear flashing light to your bike for this event.

Race HQ is adjacent to the start at the Volunteer Park, Buccleuch Road, Hawick TD9 0EH. There is parking available at the HQ and across the road at Borders College. There are toilets on site and changing facilities within the stand at the Volunteer Park.  The exact arrangements for the HQ will be determined by the Covid safety measures in place at the time of the event. 

Hawick Cycling Club will provide refreshments for competitors after the event if it is feasible and safe to do so.
