Event promoted by the British Cycling North West Go-Ride Coaching in partership with the British Cycling Talent Development team

Development Centres support riders with their first step on the talent pathway as well as current riders who have been engaged in RSR and Apprentice programmes. 

All sessions are for riders aged Youth A-B in the 2022 season

Entry is online ONLY, no entries will be accepted on the night.

About the Event

Info for Riders

These sessions are for riders competing as a Youth A or B in the 2022 season and consist of progressive training exercises targeting the development of physical and technical attributes required for youth racing.

The sessions will have different ability groups so are very inclusive but please contact me if you have questions on rider suitability.

 

Online entry will be open upto Christmas for the first block then open at Christmas for the second block of sessions.

Entries are non transferable other than in the event of a session cancellation

 

The session is designed to prepare riders for training on the road and should be approached like a two hour road ride.

MINIMUM EXPECTATIONS

  • Gloves (track mitts in warmer weather)
  • Waterproof jacket
  • Suitable clothing for a winter training session (No exposed arms or legs)
  • Two bottles
  • Food to fuel session (cereal bar ect)

 

The session will run in all weather conditions other than snow and coaches reserve the right to turn away riders who they feel aren’t adequately prepared for harsher winter conditions.

 

 

 

 

Covid-19 Information:

If you, or anyone in your household is shielding or displaying and covid-19 symptoms do not attend this session.
