Event Overview

2022 will see Eden Project hosting the Eden Classic cyclo sportive for the seventh year offering three spectacular rides that take in the most scenic parts of the South Coast in Cornwall.

Riders have a choice of three route options ranging from a short yet challenging ride of 35 miles, to a middle distance of 60 miles and a long ride for the experienced sportive rider of 100 miles. All of the routes offer riders the unique chance to pedal the length of Eden, past the world famous Rainforest and Mediterranean Biomes, as they start their challenging journey. They will ascend steep hairpin bends up the side of the former china clay quarry before taking in the dramatic scenery of the south Cornwall coast and a stop at Heligan where riders can refuel at a refreshment station at the entrance to the acclaimed Lost Gardens.
