SES Racing are happy to be returning to Herne Hill Velodrome for our 2021 Summer Sprinters League.

Races will be taking place (weather permitting) on the first Saturday of each month, from 3rd April to 5th September (inclusive). Covid safety protocols must be adhered to throughout the event.

Please note that dogs are NOT allowed, with the exception of working service dogs. Please also note that Herne Hill is a non-smoking venue.

From May onwards the programme will include 200m TT qualifying, plus match sprints and 'special' events where time allows. All rides will be rolling start from the fence and, depending on the number of entries received, will feature A, B & C sprints, plus a separate women's competition.

Previous track racing (match sprint) experience is essential.

These are COMPETITIVE events ridden at speed and are not suitable for novices.

Entries will be accepted on a first come, first served basis, and these will close on the THURSDAY before each event.  Once accepted, entries cannot be refunded unless cancelled by the organiser.

To adhere to current track and trace policy, pre-entry for these races is essential.  There will be no option to enter on the day!

Final piece of house-keeping;  please bring safety pins for your numbers as we will not be issuing these on the day.  We also recommend that you bring santitiser/anti-bacterial wipes with you and politely request that you thoroughly clean any items you've used/touched (including railings, chairs, track pumps, numbers etc) before you leave the venue.

Info for Riders

Silver or Gold British Cycling Membership is required and riders must have a FULL RACING LICENCE, valid for the current year.  We do not accept Provisional or Day Licences.

Sign-on will be open from 4.30pm and will CLOSE at 5:45pm.

Racing starts at 6:15pm and finishes at 9pm, with a rider briefing taking place in the track centre at 6.00pm.
