Event Overview

Event promoted by the British Cycling talent development team in partnership with Next Step Cycle Coaching and regional British Cycling staff.  

Development Centres support riders with their first step on the talent pathway as well as current riders who have been engaged in RSR and Apprentice programmes.  Online entry is used to support the tracking of riders through the pathway.

Development Centre Session - Youth A/B riders only.  Sessions will focus on higher level skills development, race fitness, race tactics and race craft and will be supplemented by occasional workshops/forums (training, diet, bike maintenance etc.)

Club Cluster Training Session - Youth C only.  Open to riders who are currently competing in CX/Western League or planning to compete in 2021-22.

Info for Riders

 

NOTE - Parental consent form (link below) is compulsory and completed form must be brought to the session.

Cheltenham cx track is situated next to the Prince of Wales stadium.  If you use this postcode you will find us. Parking is available on the roads adjacent to the park and if open the trust have a car park behind the track. 

Please bring your own food and drink as there are very few places open to buy food.  There is a small spa shop near the park and The Boat House Cafe offers a range of drinks and cakes. 

For the session you will need to bring a working bike, helmet and your clothing for the day. Dress appropriately for the weather and any changing conditions.  There is no shelter so if we do have any adverse conditions there is no place to go.

Entries will close on the Thursday before the event at 11.55pm.
