What is it?

All sessions are for riders aged Youth A-B and in the year of delivery. Junior riders are also welcome by prior agreement with the Newbury Velo/PPV team.

What you need? Clean road bike in good working order*, helmet, gloves, appropriate clothing for the weather & time of year, spare inner tube, tyre levers, pump and enough food & drink (water bottles on bike or close to the circuit) to see you through the session and travelling home

Info for Riders

What is it?

A 2 hour session dedicated to developing bike skills along with physical elements required for success. Development Centres will support riders with their first step on the talent pathway and are for those who aspire to be become better bike riders and who might be looking to attend RSRs as well as current riders who have already engaged in RSR and Apprentice programmes. Riders should be aware that these sessions will be physically challenging, meeting the needs of the racing standards of Youth A and B Riders within the region. 

Who is it for? All Youth A & B bike racers

What you need? Clean road bike in good working order*, helmet, gloves, appropriate clothing for the weather & time of year, spare inner tube, tyre levers, pump and enough food & drink (water bottles on bike or close to the circuit) to see you through the session and travelling home, inhaler if asthmatic
