This event is a pilot event featuring individual timed events as a pilot for a return to racing on the Bournemouth Velodrome following the suspension of events due to Covid-19.

This event is open to riders on fixed gear bikes as well as freewheel bikes.

This event will be limited to 24 riders.

The British Cycling guidelines with relation to Covid-19 will be adhered to by all at the event and participants should be aware of this guidance including the codes of behaviour and their responsibilities at the event to keep everyone safe.

About the Event

Info for Riders

On-track warm up will be from 1700-1725 (fixed and freewheel bikes separately). 

All riders will complete a 3km Pursuit, a flying 200m time trial and a 1km time trial.

No entries will be accepted on the day and all the event information will be sent out via email prior to the event. 

Payment will only be taken on the morning of the event should the organisers be confident that the weather will permit the event to proceed. Should poor weather force the event to be called off then all entries will be rejected and no payment will be taken from riders.

Entries will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

Go Race – open to (male and female) 4th Category riders, Members without Racing Licences, non-Members and Youth A and B riders without any Licence Points in 2020 and Youth C, D & E riders.

Youth Only - Open to Youth A and B riders with licence points in 2020.

Reg C - Open to (male and female) 3rd cat adult riders and above. 

Riders should not attend the event if they are showing any symptoms of Covid-19 as per the British Cycling guidelines.

All event information will be communicated with riders via email in advance of the event, please ensure you have read and understood this information in advance of arriving at the event.
