Event Overview

Eden Classic cyclo sportive will return for its sixth year in 2021 and will see Eden Project hosting three spectacular rides that take in the most scenic parts of the South Coast in Cornwall.


Riders have a choice of three route options ranging from a short yet challenging ride of 35 miles, to a middle distance of 62 miles and a long ride for the experienced sportive rider of 100 miles. All of the routes offer riders the unique chance to pedal the length of Eden, past the world famous Rainforest and Mediterranean Biomes, as they start their challenging journey. They will ascend steep hairpin bends up the side of the former china clay quarry before taking in the dramatic scenery of the south Cornwall coast and a stop at Heligan where riders can refuel at a refreshment station at the entrance to the acclaimed Lost Gardens.

 

NEW for 2021 e-bike categories for each distance.

 

Each entrant to recieve a pre-ride breakfast, timing chip with sms timing result, post event pasty and medal. As well as upto four friends and family members are able to to come along support riders with free entry to the Eden Project and Lost Gardens and Heligan.

Each entrant is eligble to bring along four supporters (two adults and two children) to the Eden Project on the weekend of the event and to the Lost Gardens of Heligan on the day of the event itself.
