Info for Riders

This ride has become a favourite locally amongst friends. The ride is predominantly on the Wiltshire Cycleway from Frome up to Tetbury in the Cotswolds. A picturesque route passing through pretty villages and using quiet lanes we are offering the following distance options.

  • 100 mile
  • 85 mile
  • 100 km
  • 50 km

We will provide a gpx file but the route will not be signposted. Riders will be issued with a brevet card to be stamped at points along the route. There will be a memento for everyone who gets their card stamped.

Riders are encouraged to get together with a group of friends and enjoy a day out together on the bike. If you are a solo rider but would like to ride with a group we will have some groups of varying abilities setting off with ride leaders from 9am, including women only rides.

There will be feed stops to buy coffee and cake and a third in Tetbury with more substantial lunch food. We hope to have offered a range of distances with a challenge to suit everyone

All proceeds from this event will go to the Alex vs ALS fund.
