Cycle for Amy is a chairty sportive in memory of a very special girl, Amy Watson-Wright, and her chosen chairty Childflight.

Amy sadly passed away on 9th April 2012 after a four year battle with brain cancer.

Her memory lives on in fundraising events and Amy continues to raise thousands for Childflight.

This amazing event has been organised by Amy's parents in the past and this year they have the oppertunity to ride alongside other cyclists and enjoy this sportive.

Just by entering this event you will be helping raise funds for Childflight.  Childflight is a Manchester based charity which provides a trip of a lifetime to Florida for children with life limiting or life debilitating illnesses, along with their families.  This chairty supports children from around the North West of England and has a huge impact on many families lives.

The charity is run soley by volunteers and 99p in every pound donated goes directly to helping provide Florida trips, christmas santa flight's and medical flight costs abroad.

Info for Riders

This year the cycle for Amy will have two routes.

30 miles

60 miles

Both are amazing routes which have their own challenges for riders or all abilities.

The sportive includes food stations, water stations, a chip for timing, marshals on the route as well as it being fully signposted and a complementary hot barm waiting for you when you finish.
