Event Overview

This is the first in a 5 race series on Saturdays to run throughout the summer of 2020. Each event will host two concurrent races, for different categories,set off at a five minute interval.

Series

1. 16th May (Cat E1/2 and 4th Cat only

2. 30th May (Cat 2,/3/4 and  womens 2/3/4)

3. 13th June (E1/2 and 3/4)

4. 27th June (Cat 2/3 and 4th Cat only)

5. 1 Aug (E1/2 and 3/4)

Info for Riders

After the successful 2019 series racing has again been permitted for 2020 at Merryfield. Due to the primary military use of the site everyone must play their part to keep the site safe and happy.

1) Online entry in advance only. This is so that ID can easily be checked against the start sheet at the entrance gate.

2) No access to the site will be allowed before 1100. Registration will open from 1115. All riders must attend the pre race brief at the start/finish line 1245.

3) Use the toilets provided NOWHERE else! Any body seen not complying will be asked to leave the site immediately.

4) Only ride on the race circuit (the perimeter road around the runways) in the direction indicated by the marshals or warm up on turbo/rollers in the car parking area.

5)  The Air Traffic Control Tower area is strictly out of bounds.

6) Ride/drive courteously through the village of Ilton. Complaints from local residences will not go down well.
