Event Summary
Event Overview
We had hoped to be back for another full summer season of circuit racing but due to the pandemic thigs have had to change with a large number of our events having had tobe cancelled.
We are now resuming racing but due to restrictions on the circuit the next event the 11th August will be run asa 10.4 mile time trial, 11 laps of the circuit.
Road bikes only and no disc wheels/aero bars, no taking pace.
There are no BC points being currently awarded
We will be giving points out in our own series standings to the top 6 riders in their own race category.
Results will be published on the Parentini facebook paget
Only league members will score league points and will be eligible for the overall prize list.
The races are open to all BC members, you do need a racing licence in addition to BC membership to race and day membership can be purchased on the day.
As stated an overall series which is sponsored by Italian clothing company Parentini will also run over the season with the top 6 riders winning additional prizes.
There is a club HQ however currently it is only open for toilet facilities
Race results and photos will be posted up on the following facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/387804418770592/ as well as the results being sent to British Cycling
It is hoped that we will soon be able to revert back to mass start races and that to make up for the loss of the early rounds that we can establish some dates later in the year

Thank you for your race entry to the Parentini West Thames series
Due to the COVID pandemic things have had to change as currently massed start racing is not allowed at the venue
It is hoped that this decision will be over turned by the 18th Aug, However on the 11th rater than not have any racing we will be running the event as a 10 mile(approx) individual time trial.
No warming up on the cct whilst racing is taking place.
The direction of the race will be anti clockwise
All COVID directions will be followed.
Although there will be toilet facilities there will be no changing facilities.
No results on the day but will be on line as soon as possioble after the event .
