Event Overview

2020 will see the 5th Escape to the Dales. Overground Underground Festival will be working in partnership with Escape Bike Shop to bring you Ingleton's stunning cycle sportive. The essence of the Escape to the Dales Sportive is to enjoy the cycling challenge of riding in the gorgeous Yorkshire Dales in a safe and supported environment amongst friends and like minded cycle enthusiasts - and have a damned fine time doing it!

We're blessed to live and work in one of the prettiest counties in England, with some fine roads and lanes perfect for cycling and all abilities; as such we have chosen routes in that vain, to be scenic and enjoyable rather than the hardest/toughest course, although there will be challenges!  Choose between two stunning routes - each one stopping at our well stocked food stop.
