Event Summary

Event Overview

Velo2Velo Ilkley is the perfect ride to ease yourself back in after the winter break or for riders preparing for bigger rides later in the year.

The route is also perfect for those taking on a first sportive, or for those just wanting a day out, without the stress of a longer distance on some good roads that offer great scenery.

Leaving from & returning to our event HQ The Commute Cycle Cafe, Ilkley, it’s a rolling route, with a couple of hills to challenge your legs, plus an optional test to come near the end, the notorious Langbar climb.

This ride is suitable for a wide range of riders, particularly anyone who is looking for an event that's both challenging and relaxed. It’s all about having fun while rising to your own personal challenge and doing it at your own pace.

  • Distance – 38.59 Miles / 62 Km
  • Climb – 3,246 feet / 989 metres
  • Fully signed route
  • GPX files for download
  • British Cycling Public Liability Insurance
  • Safety car out on route
  • Toilets & changing at start/finish
  • Post ride coffee & breakfast snacks
