Kings Lynn Cycling Club is proud to announce Pedal Lynn presents the West Norfolk Sportive sponsored by Foster-Gamko, The Refrigeration Experts, returns for it's fourth year with an all new venue and 4 brand new routes.

Starting from the village hall in the picturesque West Norfolk village of Great Massingham there will be 3 different 25 mile signposted routes.

Riders can choose to do 25 mile, 50 mile, 75 mile and 100 mile through the lovely West Norfolk countryside. The idea is that you can mix and match your favourite routes to make up the total distance you wish to ride.

There's even a seperate 8 mile family ride as part of the 25 mile route, the £16 entry fee into this ride covers 4 riders either 2 adults + 2 children or 1 adult 3 children. All riders under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Rides start from 8am with the longer routes setting off first.

Ample free on site parking

Broom wagon and bike mechanics on site (kindly provided by Pedal Revolution)

Refreshments such as fruit, water, gels, sweets are included in the cost with tea/coffee and homemade cake on sale all in the village hall.

Finishers medal for everyone who completes the ride.

There are ample changing/toilet facilities in the hall and a licensed bar.

Proceeds in aid of West Norfolk Mind Charity.

  1. Age restrictions - Pedal Lynn Sportive: 100m, 75m For 16 years old and over riders, 50m & 25m 10 year old and over, no upper age limits.
  2. Parental consent - If you are under 16 or under a parent must fill in a consent form to say you can take part - we will email the form to you -  print it out, fill it in and sign then post it back to us, alternatively these can be filled out on the day of the event with the parent present.
  3. Under 16 - You must be accompanied by a parent on the ride.
  4. Types of bike - drop-handlebar racing bikes, hybrids, touring, Bromptons/commuting, mountain, tandems all permitted.  NOT allowed - trikes, unicycles, electric bikes, bikes with TT bars.
