Event Overview

Full Gas Cycling returns to the Velodrome at Lee Valley VeloPark for the sixth Winter Track League series from 29th October 2019. 

Race nights will be Tuesday and fortnightly on Thursday nights (7pm – 10pm). The format has changed for this year, with specific races for Madison riders and Sprinters on the Thursday nights. In addition, women will be able to ride in the A, B and C groups, which are now mixed.

Tuesday = A, B, C groups
Thursday = alternating weeks, one of these will be a normal league night with racing for A, B, C categories, the other Thursday will be a sprint & Madison evening. The sprint will be run as in previous years.

About the Event

Info for Riders

For all league events, a fully completed Indoor Track Accreditation (for Newport, Glasgow, Derby, Manchester or Lee Valley) is required and this should be listed on your racing licence. A full race licence is required, and will be checked at rider sign-on desk.

Previous track racing experience is required, or a minimum of 10 hours of relevant race training or SQTs needs to be completed prior to entering races. 

These are COMPETITIVE events ridden at speed.

Entries open ONE MONTH before each event and will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. To avoid duplication please check your dashboard calendar before you submit and pay for an entry. There will be no refunds or transfer of entries between events. 

New for this year – each Tuesday before Track League starts the track is available for one hour for league riders to do a track warm up. This will be limited to a maximum of 28 riders on track and will involve an additional cost of £7.50 per rider. 

Riders may not submit an entry for a different group if their own is full.
