Back by popular demand! Our Startline Rutland event is the first of our entry level events, designed for those who want to try a sportive, are interested in less hilly routes or want something of a training ride, with all the basics covered and a smaller entry price!

About the Route: Discover the quiet roads of Rutland by bike. Your adventure starts just outside the historic market town of Oakham. Riding north through Rutland's iconic villages you will find stunning views and protected countryside. We have created two fully sign posted routes leaving you free you to enjoy the ride. The limited number of climbs make this a perfect event for those new to cycling or as a post winter warm up.

Startline Rutland includes refreshment stops on both routes. You can also enjoy hot drinks and freshly made sandwiches after the event. If you encounter any problems our broom wagon and medical staff are ready to help. The event HQ at Catmose Sports has plenty of parking and great changing and shower facilities. Friends and family are welcome to support you and enjoy the atmosphere on the day.

Your ride will be timed and uploaded to our website. You also have the option of claiming a finishers’ medal after completing your chosen distance. Rutland Startline is designed for anyone seeking a fun and memorable day out.
