Event Overview

Due to the success of last years 'The Salt Sportive' we are back for 2020!!  Again offering two routes of 50km and 100km around the beautiful Worcestershire countryside.

Both routes have breathtaking views along predominantly untouched country lanes with the longer route including some challenging climbs over the Clent Hills.

The 50km route is designed to give those new or returning to cycling a great introduction to the sportive, while the 100km route is a more challenging route for keen cyclists.

Info for Riders

The Salt Sportive is a road cycling event, offering two route options of 50km and 100km around the beautiful Worcestershire countryside.

The event is being hosted by Chawson First School in Droitwich Spa, a town famous for the Salt Brine running under it.

Route – Taking in picturesque and quiet country lanes around Worcestershire, with views of The Malvern Hills, Abberley, Clent Hills and surrounding areas. 

Location Start/Finish - Chawson First School Droitwich

What Fees Include - 

-50km and 100km route fully marked

-Maps via .gpx files

-Feed stations (approximately 20 miles and 44 miles)

-Marshalls at key points on route

-First aid support

-Spot Prizes for randomly selected finishers

-Finishers Medal

There will also be plenty going on at the Event HQ for those who just want to come along to support the event.

All funds raised will go to Chawson First School Association (CFSA) the school’s Parent/Teacher Association's (PTA). The CFSA consists of a group of parents and teachers running events for the local and wider community, to raise additional funds for the benefit of the school and children. To make a difference to the education of the local children and encourage families and friends of the school to come together for a fun healthy activity.
