Lea Valley 50th anniversary Crit Race

Closed Circuit , London – Saturday, 14 Sep 2019

Event Summary

Event Overview

It's Lea Valley's 50th anniversary so we've decided to put on our first open crit race!! We're going to have bells and music and a cheery attitude to make it as fun as possible! So don't be scared; if you've never raced before ask yourself these questions;

1. Can you ride a bike?

2. Can you ride a bike around a track for 60 minutes?

3. Do you want to meet other people and have an awesome day?

Then book your place!

We know it's the Rapha Women's 100km Ride the same day but what could be more fun than going around a track en masse with other women?

Here at LVCC we are putting the emphasis on women this year so we are offering the following prize money:

Women and Men overall winners:

1st £50

2nd £30

3rd £25

4th £20

5th £15

4th cat winners (women only):

1st £20

2nd £15

3rd £10

Pizza prime sponsored by Yardsale Leytonstone

Another (!) prime sponsored by Pretty Decent Beer Co *

After prize giving we are encouraging everyone to head to the Pretty Decent Beer Company in Wansted for food, beer and laughs. Racing is meant to be enjoyable and we want to get as many people involved as possible!

Entrants are encouraged to come early/stay late and watch and cheer on both races; bring cow bells, brings whilstles, or just a loud voice!
