‘Valleys Velo Sportive is back for the 5th edition after rave reviews in all previous events
This end of season sportive organised in partnership by the BIKE DOCTOR Cycling club brings together, spectacular rolling mountain scenery, with classic climbs, brilliant views and fast testing descents as it threads its way through the ex mining landscape of the South Wales Valleys.

Info for Riders

There are two routes - Standard 65k and a Epic 95k route. While the Epic route only be 95km long but there are a total of six major hills with almost 6000ft of climbing which yes includes the epic climbs of the Bwlch, Rhigos and Maerdy but also many more hidden gems a waiting to challenge you. Early Bird Entry Fee for 2019 is £30.00 plus and will include a special Valleys Velo Tee for all on line entrants, We recommend you enter this event as early as possible after the success of this event will fill fast. Spaces ar Limited to 400 Riders.  Come and join us on what will be one of the best organised event you will enter.  We will have Marshals manning nearly every corner of the route. 

All entrants will recieve an event Technical "Tee" with all your climbs prineted on the back, there will be 2 feed stations providing minted Welsh pots and lots more food getting you ready for the climbs ahead.  

The event will be timed so you can check against your previous times, You will get a medal to show off to your friends and family. 

This is no ordinary event, we make sure you and your family will enjoy the whole day. 



Parking, toilets, food, childrens play area, walking, all available on site to keep the family happy when your out riding. 

There is a camping and a caravan park on site if you fancy making a weekend of it.
