Event promoted by the British Cycling talent development team in partnership with regional staff.  

All sessions are for riders aged 10 TO 15 years. 

Entry is online ONLY, no entries will be accepted on the night. 

Development Centres support riders with their first step on the talent pathway as well as current riders who have been engaged in RSR and Apprentice programmes.  Online entry is used to support the tracking of riders through the pathway.

About the Event

Info for Riders

The British Cycling Development Centre session will held at Manchester BMX Club.

Session time 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

The session will be coached by Rob Hawker. 


Development Centre Criteria

·      Riders have transferred past moto stage at regional level.

·      Riders are competing at national level events.

·      Riders are attending club coaching sessions.

·      Riders show a willingness to progress.

·      Riders have a suitable level of enthusiasm and self-motivation.

·      Riders can bring correct kit bag and equipment needed for the session.

 

Riders can perform the following techniques and measurements.

·      50m sprint under 9 seconds.

·      Manual at least 2 metres.

·      Wheelie at least 2 meters.

·      Bunny hop height at least 10 cm’s.
