Welsh Road Race Championships - 2019.

Welsh Cycling are proud to host this year's road race championships in Rhuthun, North Wales. This year's event promises to be a grand spectacle with an all NEW town circuit finish to the parkour.

The Course

The Welsh Road Race Championships will be held in Rhuthun for 2019 on a challenging course. Riders will complete two full laps of the main circuit before turning onto the finishing circuit which will have road closure on parts of the route. Kids Activities

As well as the main races going on, there will also be activities for children happening on St. Peters Square from 11:45. The children will get to take part in a range of activites, showcasing their skills and have the opportunity to race across the finishing line underneath the gantry. Come along and get your kids involved.

About the Event

Info for Riders

The Welsh Cycling Road Race Championships is a closed event. Riders must meet one of the eligibility *criteria as detailed below in order to participate in the race. Riders must:

Have been born in Wales.
Be the son or daughter of a person born in Wales or whose parents' principal place of domicile was in Wales.
Have resided in Wales for 5 years consecutively prior to the date of the Championship.

If you are unsure of your eligibility, please contact Welsh Cycling for clarifiaction. If an entry is made to the event and then found not to meet the specified criteria, you will not be allowed to participate and no refund will be given.

The Welsh Cycling Road Race Championships is a closed event. Riders must meet one of the eligibility *criteria as detailed below in order to participate in the race. Riders must:

Have been born in Wales.
Be the son or daughter of a person born in Wales or whose parents' principal place of domicile was in Wales.
Have resided in Wales for 5 years consecutively prior to the date of the Championship.

**Proof of nationality may be requested by Welsh Cycling**
