Event Overview

Kick start the season with the Cyclone24 Copthorne Spring Sportive, a non-competitive cycle challenge with a fully signposted 75km course.

The route takes you out of Cardiff, heading through some beautiful Vale of Glamorgan lanes, and North towards the Valleys for some challenging climbs and coastal views, before heading back towards the city.

Expect challenging climbs, punchy hills, spectacular views and quiet country lanes. Watch out for a couple of cattle grids and some sheep.

There are no timing chips, with the aim to make it a great non-competitive but challenging day out for riders of all abilities. However, the event is built on strava for those who want a time.

All participants receive complimentary SiS energy products on arrival, along with coffee, tea, bacon sandwiches and refreshments upon your return.

The start, which is at 8.00am with registration opening at 7.00am, will be held outside The Copthorne Hotel, Culverhouse Cross Cardiff.
