The 'Festive 40' returns for it's fourth year having been a 'sell out' in 2015, 2016 & 2017
Join us on a 40 mile loop around the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan. Come and show off your new Xmas kit, get some fresh air and begin the 'Turkey Burn Off'!
If you're looking for a competitive event where speed is the aim, you're on the wrong start line. Take your time, enjoy the company and the scenery - it's all about getting out on your bike with like-minded people and blowing away the festive cobwebs. You won't find any energy gels at our feed stations; we have our friends at Wine Street Coffee and The Thirsty Elephant Coffee Company helping out with great coffee & cake at the start and mulled wine & mince pies (and more coffee) at the halfway point.
As usual, all of the money we raise is given away to local good causes. More details of this to follow........
Last year we had to turn people away due to limited places (100) so please make sure you enter as soon as you can if you plan to ride.
We'd love for you to join us and hope to see you on December 30th.

About the Event
Info for Riders
We'll leave Pontyclun Rugby Club at 10am. There's limited parking at this site but plenty of parking in Pontyclun. Where possible, it'd be great if you'd ride in - there's hot coffee waiting.
The route will take you through The Vale of Glamorgan with a stop halfway, in Llantwit Major, where our friends at Wine Street Coffee will have mulled wine & mince pies as well as their usual awesome coffee.
You're not racing, you're just out, riding your bike, helping us raise some money for local good causes. And, hopefully, enjoying yourselves.
Entry is £20 via www.britishcycling.org.uk and limited to 100 riders.
Full event details will be sent to all riders a few weeks beforehand.
