Discover Nottinghamshire’s country lanes and challenging hills. Your adventure starts near the historic town of Southwell, where you can see the 19th Century Minster and the Victorian work house. Riding past the river Trent you will uncover interesting climbs and gentle descents. We have created three fully sign posted routes leaving you free to enjoy the ride. This event is perfect for new and experienced cyclists.


Southwell Cycle Tour includes refreshment stops throughout your ride (no feedstation on the 33 mile route.) You can also enjoy a hot dinner, such as fish and chips at the Racecourse after completing the event. If you encounter any problems our mechanics and medical staff are ready to help. The event HQ at Southwell Racecourse has great facilities and plenty of parking. Friends and family are welcome to support you and enjoy the atmosphere on the day.


Your ride will be timed and uploaded to our website. We will award you with a finishers’ medal after completing your chosen distance. The Southwell Cycle Tour is designed for anyone seeking a fun and memorable day out.

Entry Options
We offer either online or on the day entry for most events. By entering ahead of the event online you are guaranteed a place on the ride and you also receive your entry at a discounted price. Online entry allows us to fully prepare for the number of riders and means that we can deliver the best service possible.  We are also normally able to offer on the day entry, however sometimes events do sell out due to capacity. The cost for on the day entry is slightly higher and you will have to complete a registration form on the day. We accept cash or cheque for on the day entries.
