Event Summary

Event Overview

Route Options - Long (80 miles) - Medium (59 miles) - Short (33 miles)

Discover Nottinghamshire’s country lanes and challenging hills. Your adventure starts near the historic town of Southwell, where you can see the 19th Century Minster and the Victorian work house. Riding past the river Trent you will uncover interesting climbs and gentle descents. We have created three fully sign posted routes leaving you free to enjoy the ride. This event is perfect for new and experienced cyclists. Southwell Cycle Tour includes refreshment stops throughout your ride (feedstation not available on the shortest route). You can also enjoy a hot dinner, such as fish and chips at the Racecourse after completing the event. If you encounter any problems our mechanics and medical staff are ready to help. The event HQ at Southwell Racecourse has great facilities and plenty of parking. Friends and family are welcome to support you and enjoy the atmosphere on the day. Your ride will be timed and uploaded to our website. We will award you with a finishers’ medal after completing your chosen distance. The Southwell Cycle Tour is designed for anyone seeking a fun and memorable day out. We are very proud to be partnering with Reach for this event. Reach are a charity working in Southwell and the surrounding area to improve the lives of adults with learning disabilities. They have some fantastic education projects in the local area as well as providing day to day care and support for those who need it most.
