Spring Is Here - Classics Season!

The London Phoenix Cycling Club invites you to the 12th Easter Classic - Easter Monday, 22nd April 2019.

You have two routes to choose from – 113km (with 940m of climbing) and 54km (with 544m of climbing). Both will take you through quiet and green country lanes of Essex. Open roads, all tarmac. Lycra or tweed, tandem or Dogma F10, all welcome. You don't need to be a BC member to enter. Yes, the sportive is electronically timed so if you want to shoot for a top 10 position or at least bag a Strava segment or two, go for it. This is a regional event with usually about 30 clubs from Greater London and further afield participating.

Routes will not be signposted but .gpx files and printed route maps are available. You can also put the routes on your phone via Strava. The event is usually a sell-out because of the great route, the relaxed ambience and the homemade baked goods at the Pleshey feed stop (on the long route). Broom wagon and limited mechanical support en route by neutral service cars.
