HSBC UK Go-Ride Holiday Coaching Camps offer training and education dedicated to specific levels of rider over a range of disciplines. Camps are available at two levels.

If your child is new to cycling or not a regular at a club or races then the beginners camps are for them. These offer the participant a chance to develop and become proficient at a range of core cycling and bike handling techniques that will prepare them for their first club session or race.

If your child has experience of racing and is a Go-Ride Club regular then there are advanced camps. There will be the chance to improve on the skills developed at their club as well as look at techniques across disciplines that will progress your child to the next level of their cycling journey.

Info for Riders

Part of the HSBC UK Go-Ride programme, holiday camps provide a fun and safe way to introduce young riders to the world of cycle sport and improve bike handling skills.

Suitable for

8-16 year olds with a keen interest in Cyclo Cross or MTB.

Regular at a Go-Ride Club with some experience of racing.or a competant cyclist interested in racing.

Please note: ALL participants must already be competent bike riders. All riders must be able to follow instructions and must want to take part in coached cycling activities. Unfortunately we are unable to take novice cyclists in this session, i.e. those who cannot yet ride a bike or have limited experience.

What to expect - Fun structured sessions which focus on Cyclo Cross core cycling and bike handling techniques. 

We will be using a steep banked area to practice descending, climbing, off-camber riding and cornering. These sessions are therefore not suitable for novice riders.

The sessions will run from 10am – 3pm (Sign on from 9.30am). There may be some places available on the day but it is best to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Sessions are subject to minimum numbers and suitable weather conditions. You will be contacted via email if the session will be cancelled.
