Event Overview

An event raising funds for the Brain Tumour Charity in memory of Holly Locke, the 3 rides of 4, 25 and 52 miles will start in the historical market town of Crowland in the Lincolnshire fens.

The rides will be supported by the help of Crowland Wheelers and maintenance support by Terry Wright Cycles.

Starting at 9am to 10am from the Snowden sports pavilion the rides will take you out onto the open roads of Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire, the routes will be fully signed and there will be gpx files to download.

After your ride there will be the good old traditonal teas/ coffee and cakes which are to high standards.

About the Event

Info for Riders

The butterfly ride is a fun/ family ride of 4 miles which takes you around the old Abbey and out to the river welland, returning back to the historical village and around its streets returning to the Snowden sports field.

The River ride of 25 miles takes you around the Abbey then out towards the river welland, following this towards the tulip town of Spalding, going around a few little villages returning to the river bank and back to Crowland sports pavillion.

The Sunshine ride of 52 miles takes you via the Abbey and then aross the A16 into the Fens heading east towards Wisbech St Mary, from here you turn north to Long Sutton which is about the half way mark. There is a cafe but this is at riders own expense if uesd, (The Silverwood Tea rooms, 4 Gimmel's Gate, Long Sutton, Spalding, PE12 9AU). Then you head west towards Weston Hills after which you are then going southerly back to Crowland for a well deserved piece of cake.
