Event Overview

Birmingham Irish Cycle Appeal are group of cyclists, many who have Irish roots, who undertake a weeks cycling challenge and other events each year in order to raise funds for local charities.  Last year we raised £65000 

This is the 3rd year of a our event. The rides starts and ends The Oak Hotel with the generous support again of Shaun and his team.

A choice of 50Km or 100Km sociable ride through the beautiful Warwickshire and Worcestershire countryside.  A pit-stop to envy with a selection of homemade cakes and sandwiches with hot or cold drinks all served with a smile.

Then stay, enjoy the hotel restraunt and bar and join fellow riders to reminisce the days events over some refreshments.

All proceeds towards raising funds for local charities

About the Event

Info for Riders

The 100KM ride takes in theWarwickshire villages of Lowsonford, Hampton Lucy and the town of Stratford Upon Avon, before heading towards the pitstop. It then heads into Worcestershire near Feckenham, Burcot and Peacock Hill before returning to The Oak Hotel past Earlswood Lakes.

The 50Km ride will take you through Danzey Green and Morton Baggott down to the pitstop. On your return you will pass through Coughton, Studley and Tanworth in Arden on route back to The Oak Hotel.

  

Riders can start, after signing in, at any time to suit themselves from 8.00 am and all we ask is that you make sure you sign back in on your return. There will be emergency recovery. There is ample parking available at THe Oak Hotel.

Entrance fee for over 16's is £25. Under 16's are free but must be accompanied by an adult. The profits of which go towards our charitable causes. Of course, any extra sponsorship you can raise would be fantastic.
