Event Overview
Offa’s Byke Bash - Supporting Weston Lullingfields Primary School
Following in tracks of King Offa, this sportive takes you on a scenic ride along Shropshire’s finest lanes to the Welsh border.
The 40k route is aimed at those wanting a social ride, which will have one food stop and conveniently passes one of the finest pubs in the county ;-) It also offers an opportunity for younger riders and those new to the sport to take part in an organised event.
The 90k route is for the more adventurous rider, wanting to take on the notorious and rewarding climb to the crest of Long Mountain. Breath-taking views from the ridge and progressive descent back into Shropshire make this ride unmissable. This will have two food stops with extra provisions provided on Long Mountain itself.
Also available as part of this event is a led family ride, which at 10k will prove to be a great challenge to take on together. Benefitting from on-the-road support and excellent facilities, this is accessible to everyone proficient on two wheels…
Not only will this ride be the highlight of your cycling calendar, it also supports a small rural school; so be a legend and be a part of the Offa’s Byke Bash!

About the Event
Info for Riders
Registration opens from 08:30, with groups of riders taking part in in the 90k and 40k Sportives being released between 09:00 and 10:30. Those taking part in the 10k Family Ride are asked to assemble at 10:30
All routes use quiet country roads where possible, with marshalls being placed at junctions with busier sections of road. All riders are asked to observe the Highway Code at all times.
All riders must wear a helmet. All children under 16 must ride with a responsible adult.
Downloadable routes have been made availible but please be aware that minor changes may be required before the event takes place.
On the day entry will only be avalible if the event is not sold and will be limited to a maxium of 50 riders, so dont delay and make the most of our free momento offer...Please ensure you sign back in once you have completed the ride.
